    Mrs. Trawick: One of the Originals

Here’s a little bit about our very own, Mrs. Trawick. Mrs. Trawick has been a teacher for 19 years! That’s a long Time!  Mrs. Trawick has spent her 19 years of teaching at this school, but that’s just with a teaching degree. “While I was in college, I taught at Ezell Harding. But that was not with a teaching license.” Mrs. Trawick was one of the original teachers at this school! 

Has Mrs. Trawick always had this passion for teaching? “Since I was little.” She would ask for supplies to teach with for christmas.

Mrs. Trawick has two children, Colby, who is 21, and Emmy, who is 18.

 Out of all of the labs Mrs. Trawick has done over the years, which was her favorite? “Extracting DNA from strawberries. Then it would probably be the pH lab.”

Mrs. Trawick teaches science, but what is her favorite part about it? “That I don’t have to sit still. I can get up and move around.”

What does Mrs. Trawick do in her free time? “Well I’m good at bargain shopping.” Mrs. Trawick also makes baby blankets and scrunchies. She made some of the scrunchies for student council. 

Mrs. Trawick is a well known teacher at this school, and now we know just a little more about her.
