Strength and Conditioning

  • Physical Education: Strength and Conditioning:  6th, 7th, and 8th Grade

This course includes the foundations for weight and cardiovascular training through a wide variety of activities.  Included in this class will be muscular strength, power, endurance, speed movement, agility, plyometrics, and flexibility.  Proper techniques and safety will be emphasized to prevent injuries and promote muscle growth.  The course will also teach the location and movement provided by the major muscle groups.
