• STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math): 6th, 7th, and 8th Grade

The STEM exploratory is designed for students interested in the exciting careers available in the high-demand fields of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics.  This program of study is uniquely structured to offer students an overview of STEM fields, occupation, and application, followed by more specialized study of the scientific inquiry or engineering design process in subsequent years.  Students will engage in research, projects, experiments, and activities that incorporate state CTE standards as well as grade level science, technology and math standards.  Students will explore such exciting topics as coding, robotics the design and manufacturing process, architecture, health science, bioengineering, environmental science, and space science.  This class is recommended for students at any grade level who have an interest in pursuing a STEM career.
